Traveling Dog Lady Kathy Mandell is a Myrtle Beach area blogger devoted to dogs, cats and other stuff.

Kathy was a student travel executive and wearer of many hats for over 30 years, working for a company called Passports Educational Travel. She has extensive knowledge of many popular travel destinations, and a keen sense of direction and knows how to read a map. Kathy also has a knack for computers and gadgets, she plays drums and piano — and she even likes to sing!

After leaving the travel industry on a high note, Kathy worked briefly for Patch.com writing a daily Myrtle Beach local newsletter that had over 6,000 subscribers. Kathy also has written for CBS Local Boston, Cuteness.com, DoggyLoot and Cape Women Online among other publications.
